Your path to confident, specialized practice
Oncology massage is a journey, not a standalone course. EvigJoi is designed to take you from your first steps in Level 1 all the way through to advanced specialist training — at your own pace, with proper clinical grounding at every stage.
The progression Each level builds on the last. Level 1 is open to all certified massage therapists and focuses on working safely with long-term survivors — people with a history of cancer treatment. Honestly, this is training I believe every massage therapist should have. Level 2 deepens your skills for clients in active treatment and recent recovery, and includes practical guidance on marketing your specialty and building your practice. Level 3 moves into advanced clinical territory and specialist tracks — and this is a growing area. We are constantly developing new classes, and the courses shown in outline on the diagram are already in progress. There is always more on the way.
Already trained elsewhere? If you have completed oncology massage training through another approved program, you can join the EvigJoi path at the right level for you. And if you want a strong foundation to build from, our Level 1 and 2 recap content is available for purchase — giving you access to the same legacy materials our students receive, so you start with the same solid base.
Your Legacy Library Every course you complete adds to your personal Legacy Library. After one year, your access to the full online curriculum closes — but you will receive advance notice so you have time for one last review. What replaces it is not a loss. It is a curated recap of everything you learned: a recap video, key texts, and all downloads and booklets and prints Yours to keep forever.
Not material lost. Recap gained.
When you train with EvigJoi, you are not just taking a course. You are building a career and becoming part of our family.

A Pathway That Changes What’s Possible
Oncology massage entered my life through personal loss. After my father passed from cancer, I was drawn to a form of care that honored both safety and humanity. Becoming a massage therapist was supposed to be a stepping stone, but during a period of depression and reflection, I realized my first career in Experience Design was never the right fit. Massage gave me a foundation, but oncology massage training changed everything. It sent me to conference stages, into clinical settings I never expected, and eventually into education — a path I never imagined for myself and have never looked back from.
Specialized education in oncology massage and hospital massage programs gave me the courage to build something real. I created and launched hospital programs, infusion center and inpatient massage services in Sacramento, and built a career rooted in meaningful clinical work. It also led me to education, teaching other therapists how to work confidently, safely, and with purpose in complex care settings.
As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I work with people in and out of cancer treatment, as well as clients with complex lymphatic conditions like lymphedema and lipedema, and post-surgical and reconstructive care. That clinical depth is woven into everything I teach at EvigJoi.
My goal is to instill courage. Oncology massage was transformative for me, and I have seen it transform the practices of therapists I now call colleagues. With the right education, massage therapy can expand far beyond traditional settings, into hospitals, clinics, and roles you may not yet realize are possible.
This is the pathway I teach. And it is full of possibility and joy.
